A henna artist will decorate guests' hands. Arrive with clean, dry hands and no lotion, and ask for a small design if you are short on time.

Festive, elegant and ready for a night of dancing.

Dresses & kaftans
Kaftans, jalabiyas, long skirts or dresses. Embroidered Jordanian and Palestinian thobes are very welcome.

Suits & separates
A suit, or trousers with a crisp shirt, in dark or warm tones. A thobe or keffiyeh is welcome too. A tie is optional.

Traditional attire
Cultural and traditional dress is warmly invited. Wear what feels celebratory to you.
Good to know
FootwearAs the night will be full of music and dancing, we invite you to wear shoes that allow you to dance comfortably.
WeatherAmman evenings in late April are mild but can turn cool. Bring a light wrap.

Five-star hotels for a full celebration weekend.
Downtown, near Rainbow Street
Smaller and cheaper stays within walking distance of cafes and restaurants.
Airbnb, for groups
Travelling with family or a group of friends? An apartment or villa can be easier and cheaper than several hotel rooms. You get shared living space, a kitchen, and room to get ready together before the party.
Good areas to searchAbdoun, Jabal Amman, Jabal Al-Weibdeh and around Rainbow Street. They are central, with cafes and restaurants close by.
Hotel prices are the lowest nightly rate shown on Tripadvisor in October 2026 and change by date. None of these places is next to Kan Zaman, so most guests take a taxi. Book early. Ask hotels for a group rate when four or more guests travel together, and for Airbnb, look at places with several bedrooms and check the cancellation policy.
